Fairways West vs. Wascana View — what's the difference?

Both are premium nature-focused neighbourhoods. Wascana View is in the Southeast and backs the McKell Wascana Conservation Park. Fairways West is in the Northwest and backs the golf course. If you are a golfer, Fairways West is the obvious choice. If you commute to the east end or the University of Regina, Wascana View might be more convenient.

What makes Fairways West unique?

Fairways West lives up to its name. It is designed around the Joanne Goulet Golf Course and Wascana Creek. Many homes here back directly onto the fairway or the environmental reserve, offering some of the best scenic views and sunset watching in the city without the fishbowl feeling of some newer subdivisions.

Is Fairways West a good location for commuters?

For the right worker, yes. It is the ideal location for anyone working at the RCMP Depot (just down the street) or the Global Transportation Hub (GTH). The immediate access to Pinkie Road and the Bypass allows you to get to these major employment centers in under 10 minutes while bypassing internal city traffic.

What schools serve Fairways West?

This is a quiet, residential enclave with no schools inside its borders. Public school students typically attend Ruth M. Buck School, while Catholic students attend St. Josaphat School. Both offer bus service directly from the neighbourhood.
