It usually comes down to budget and home style. Lakeridge features larger, executive-style homes with stucco exteriors and higher price tags. Rochdale Park offers slightly older (late 80s/early 90s) homes with vinyl siding that are significantly more affordable. If you want into the Northwest lifestyle but want to keep your mortgage lower, Rochdale Park is the strategic choice.
It is the specific residential pocket surrounding the Northwest Leisure Centre. You will typically find 1980s bi-levels and split-level homes here for significantly less than the 1990s/2000s homes found just across the street in Lakeridge.
